WHAT DOES HALO TREAT?
The Halo by Sciton is an effective treatment that can deliver ablative results with non-ablative downtimes. This “best of both worlds” laser system allows us to target visible signs of aging and sun damage based on the patient’s unique needs. The Halo can treat and correct:

THE HALO TECHNOLOGY
The Halo is engineered with DTO technology, which continuously measures the temperature of the skin. It also allows for optical navigation so that the handpiece moves at a precise scanning speed. The Halo allows practitioners the ability to fully customize delegatable treatments with programmable levels, depending on the desired results and expected downtime. The Hybrid technology targets both superficial imperfections, as well as the deeper layers of the skin to force pigment out and stimulate collagen. The results of the Halo treatment are outstanding, and patients remain comfortable during treatment because of the integrated cooling system.
DURING YOUR HALO TREATMENT
Before you undergo your Halo treatment, we will apply a topical numbing agent to the skin to help reduce discomfort. The targeted area will be divided into sections so that each area can be treated and cooled one at a time. The Halo laser handpiece uses motion-tracking technology to signal when an area is fully treated. This “smart” technology helps us ensure that the skin is treated fully and receives equal exposure. After the treatment, we will apply a calming ointment and SPF to the skin. The skin will appear red and inflamed (similar to a sunburn) for several days. Most patients will be able to return to work and normal daily activities the next day. Immediately, your skin will appear youthful and glowing. Your skin will continue to improve for the next 4 – 6 weeks as collagen is stimulated.
