SKIN TREATMENTS
At Rosewood Medical Spa our in-house system, the Sciton Joule, is used to treat a number of skin issues. The Sciton Joule is one of the only fully tuneable laser platforms that allows laser treatments to be custom tailored and adjusted for each patient, depending on the treatment being performed. Skin rejuvenation treatments can be delivered to create a light peel for milder cases of skin damage to a more aggressive, full-face peel for patients who have deeper wrinkles and advanced damage. Halo™ Laser Resurfacing– Halo delivers ablative and non-ablative laser wavelengths all at the same time for a clinically effective laser skin resurfacing treatment. What this means for you is ONE treatment to correct sun damage, fine lines, rosacea, melasma, skin laxity and wrinkles. Considered the only hybrid fractional laser, Halo addresses both the superficial and deep layers of the skin.
MicroLaserPeel® – For the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, This ablative laser treatment removes old, damaged skin to allow for fresh, rejuvenated skin to grow in its place.
ProFractional-XC™ – ProFractional-XC achieving excellent resurfacing results with minimal downtime. Profractional-XC uses fractionated laser treatment to ablate narrow- diameter channels into the skin, covering a fraction of the total treatment area. This action initiates the body’s wound healing response, while leaving the surrounding tissues intact for rapid healing. This is an excellent treatment for surgical or acne scars.
Contour TRL™ – Contour TRL (Tunable Resurfacing Laser) is a full field ablative skin resurfacing laser. Effective for the treatment of deep wrinkles, persistent around the mouth and eyes, acne scars, actinic keratoses (AK), loose skin in all areas (including upper and lower blephs), poor skin tone and texture. Contour TRL can treat all skin types.

PROCEDURE TECHNIQUE
During the procedure, you will relax in our treatment chair while the chosen technology glides over the skin, precisely targeting the specific sections for resurfacing. You will feel warmth followed by cold air from the built-in cooling system. The laser chosen for your procedure will gently but effectively resurface the treatment area(s) to address your concerns and help you meet your cosmetic goals.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The treated areas will most likely be covered by dressings and the burning, irritation, and swelling side effects will be more intense. Medication can be prescribed to minimize these side effects. The recovery time associated with deep skin rejuvenation can last 2 – 3 weeks. All patients should reduce their sun exposure after their treatment and apply sun protection frequently. For all peel intensities, the skin will naturally flake, crust, and peel away. It is vital to avoid interfering with the healing process to evade scarring and to protect the treated area from UV exposure. Once the peeling process has been completed, your skin will feel softer while looking rejuvenated, clearer, and younger.
