MOXI uses a non-ablative laser to promote new cell growth to correct initial signs of photo damage, decrease pigmentation, and reduce pore skin. It delivers a series of gentle micro-pulses or fractional laser energy to the skin in order to create controlled damage to the skin cells. Your body then takes action and replaces the damaged cells with new ones that look fresh and bright. This provides a very precise method for treatment that directly addresses skin issues for all skin types.
WHAT IS THE POST CARE AND DOWNTIME?
Because this is a non-ablative fractionated treatment, the post care regimen is simple and the downtime is short. We recommend wearing a moisturizing physical sunscreen and stay out of the sun for 24 hours. After this time, you are able to apply makeup.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?
Results vary depending on your treatment goals. For the day following your treatment, your skin may appear red and, depending on your level of treatment, you may see the small micro dots called mendz where the laser was applied. As the micro zones heal, they will darken and feel rough. Between days 3-5, the mendz will slough off, revealing the renewed skin beneath.
